Lord Tim Clement-Jones:

 

Baron Clement-Jones CBE, is a Liberal Democrat Peer and their spokesman for the Digital Economy in the House of Lords. He is deputy chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Groups on China, Turkey and the UAE. Tim is also a consultant of leading global law firm DLA Piper and was their London Office Managing Partner from 2011 – 2016.  Tim is also a former member of the International Advisory Committee of Huawei Technologies. 

Nick Rhodes:

 

Nick is a founder member of and keyboard player in the legendary music group Duran Duran.  A big supporter of animal conservation, Nick even occasionally features animals in his songs, such as "Hungry Like the Wolf".

 

In November 2011, Nick received an Honorary Doctorate of Arts degree from the University of Bedfordshire, for his services to the music industry.

The late Sir David Tang (RIP 2017):

 

Sir David Tang was best known for being the the founder of the Hong Kong fashion group Shanghai Tang.

 

He was also owner of the China Club, China Tang Restaurant as well as several other well known businesses. He was awarded Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the KBE in the 2008 New Year honours. 

 

Sir David was a huge supporter of Li Quan and her work in re-wilding and saving the South China Tiger.  For that, he will never be forgotten here.
