On June 26, the second stop of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Talents Tour to Shaoguan, the second stop of the "Number Gathering in Shaoguan·Talent Hui Lingnan" came to South China, Shaoguan City Tiger Breeding Research Base.
Gao Wen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering;
Ding Wenhua, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering;
Luo Zhiquan, foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; and
Shen Xiangyang, foreign academician of the National Academy of Engineering of the United States,
conducted field research and participated in the action of protecting the South China tiger.
The group also observed the twin sisters "Lotus" and "Furong" at close range on the grass in front of the South China Tiger Kindergarten, and learned more about their recent growth and development.
According to the breeder, the two cubs are already 6 months old. They are very healthy, more and more active, and their food intake is also increasing. Now they can eat seven or eight catties of meat per meal, and their weight is estimated to have reached five or six. Ten catties, the breeder can't hold it anymore.
